leaky tire

I'm waiting for Scott to pick me up from school. He's a little later than expected because he had to get a TB test for work, which took longer than he thought. I just talked to him on the mobile, and found that he got our tire fixed. Felix's back passenger tire has been leaking lately--needing to be filled every two days or so. We finally decided to just get it fixed, grimacing a little at an unexpected expense, so Scott took it in today. However, the guy who fixed it didn't charge Scott anything. I'm not sure if it's common practise to fix tires for free, but I think that it's a nice thing to do. Good Samaritan-like.

For Gabe:
-my window--my bedroom window
-wee walden--the playhouse on our property--someone added a literary twist
-reading nook--self explanatory, I think
-easy risers--the stairs going up to my wing of the house (by "my wing," I mean my bedroom, office, and bathroom--although I share the bathroom)
-the horse's mouth--my roommate's horse. There are two of them which she keeps in the pasture in front of our house.
-radiant--the radiator in my room.
-dined--our dining room windows

Oh, and took all of the pictures because my sister Sarah told me to. There you go, kids--always do everything your sister tells you to do. Or not.

So there I sat in the lunch room. Shauna turned to me and said, "Margaret says hi." And I let out this big groan. First, because I was jealous that she got to hang out with you and Scott. Second, because I had every intention of sending your pillowcase with her and didn't think of it again until today in the lunch room. Heh heh. She said you had a great time together. I'm very glad of that! (also glad to see that Felix won the name battle...)

That's okay, Sara. The pillow case has to go to my younger brother, who is in Iowa. (There was a rearranging of sheets in our family--having to do with the length of mattresses in the dorms at Dordt.) Spring break, I hear?

Yes, Sarah, you told me to take pictures of my house and post them on my blog. It was a long time ago--in August I think. I think it was because you wanted to see my house? (Although you've seen it already. I'll admit, I was a little confused at the time.)

Spring break, indeed! So far that is certainly the plan. Shaun and I talked about it at lunch again today. I hear there may be a Canucks game while we're there. And since you and Scott are such big hockey fans now... :)

yes, it's one of them. but this isn't one of the ones we chose to get actual prints of. doesn't it look like it's all about me, and josh is just a character in the background? that's why we didn't choose this one. but she does nice stuff. if you go with her, i think you'll be happy.

we are. Mom booked her for us, I think.
