new

I just had my first ESL class (English as a second Language, for those of you not familiar with the jargon.) It went fairly well. We spent the time just talking, basically. We talked about Korea and the island that Korea is arguing with Japan about. Anyone else heard about that? I guess it's officially part of Korea (or at least that's what Koreans say) but Japan is trying to say it belongs to Japan. The thing is, no one really lives there. They seem like a pretty lively group, so it should be pretty fun. Next class we'll jump right into singular and plural stuff, I think.

I bet it really is part of Korea. The japanese were very colonially agressive in the early 20th century.

But they got hit by an atomic bomb, twice, Gabe. That takes colonialism right out of ya. I bet it's Japans.
