I guess I shouldn't be surprised, since I live on the West Coast. But really, it's time for spring, n'est pas? Some mornings when I sit at my desk in my office (at home) I hear running sounds on the roof. Well, at least I hope it's on the roof, and not inside the roof. I think it's birds. Apparently they've chosen our mossy roof as a good place for a nest. Or there's things to eat in there. Not sure which one I prefer. It's time to live in a nice place again.
One of my coworkers at school and her husband recently sold their townhouse and are looking to buy a house house. I mentioned to her in passing that Scott and I are looking for apartments/suites for next year. She got really big eyes and asked if we'd be interested in renting from them. So I said, "sure!" We've got a pretty sweet deal going, I think. This couple is looking for a house with us in mind. They don't really want the hassle of looking for renters, and would really like us to live in their basement. AND I work with one of them, so we could carpool! AND they're looking near school. AND they're young and cool and want to be friends. We want them to buy in Glen Mountain. I'll take pictures of this neighbourhood and post them. Glen Mountain is really what B.C. living should be. It's like living in a camp ground! None of this ugly condo city nonsense.
Scott's parents arrive late tonight.
Scott is still sleeping--he worked last night.
I've decided to cut my hair. Not sure when I'll do it. I should probably wait until after the wedding because then it'll be easier to make it look elegant. But then you get the old, "oh so you cut your hair after you got married, eh?" thing. Not that anyone actually says that. I just think it in my head.
I'm still in my pajamas. I should do something about that.
Dang the rain. It should stop.

Margaret! Everything seems to be falling in place, I'm so happy that it is all working out so well. I'm getting really excited about your wedding. Did you know that it's 4 months away?

Yes, I have, in fact. But that picture is from last summer, so maybe I started with big biceps and delts?

you could always dye instead of cut your hair. then you get the new look without the unspoken "oh you cut your hair" from people. :) its most fun when you don't tell your bf about it and just show up one day looking different. you'd be surprised at how long it takes guys to notice those sort of things.
