yesssssss!!!!!!

Yesterday I was offered a full time job for next year at my current place of employment. I accepted. heh heh. The whole job search thing turned into a bit of a chess match as I started sending out my resume and principals started calling my current principal. I think I forced his hand a bit because he saw that if he didn't act fast I would most likely sign a contract with another school. So next year Scott and I will be in Abbotsford. I will have almost exactly the same job as I have now (as long as things don't change), and we'll be able to settle in more here now that we know that we'll be able to stay indefinitely. So next task: find an apartment that is affordable and close enough to school so that I can walk or bike. Scott will move in the next month or so, hopefully. It's nice to be able to make some more definite plans.

Three more days until spring break. It will be nice. I made a to-do checklist today. Complete with boxes for the checks to go in.

Cool! I'm excited that you'll be around more (hopefully once all this crazy wedding stuff is done we'll actually see each other a bit more than we do now :). I could try hook you up with my apartment if you're interested...although it's not in walking distance of school, it is in walking distance of Mill Lake and the malls.

Congratulations!
I am happy that you are happy and that you will remain relatively close by.
More camping trips and city outings to come next (school) year? I hope so.

Congratulations!! I am so happy that you guys don't have to move and can settle in for awhile. We are going to have dinner with your parents on Thursday - tomorrow! So we will celebrate for you.

Way to go, Margaret! They are lucky folks out there. I hope that you put "finalize a job" on your list as the first box so that you could already check it off. Enjoy your break!
