Things of note lately:
- Track is almost over with two more practices next week and then provincials, which I won't have to go to (provincials, I mean)
- Our apartment is going to be hot this summer. It's on the forth floor of a building that doesn't have air conditioning. (It's a fairly new building, that's not why it doesn't have air conditioning--they just don't build buildings with air conditioning around here.) We're trying the old mid-western housewife wisdom today: close the windows and blinds as soon as the sun starts getting hot. It seems to be working so far--although we don't get to see the sunlight. Sorry, not very interesting.
- I had my grade nines make a list of ten personality traits that they would look for in a spouse (relating to Romeo and Juliet), and then ask their parents to do the same. I did the activity as well, and some of my students were concerned that I didn't put "Christian" on my list. How to explain.
- I have a huge pile of marking that must get finished this weekend.
- I can't put a picture on my profile anymore. Don't know what's up.

5 weeks???? Wow. You can do it! Tell your kids that having a Christian man is so obviously important that you don't need to waste time by putting it on a list. Yeah, that's it.
or just admit that you are a heathen, to avoid further complications....

I got a most lovely invite in the mail today. Whoohoo!
We had a meeting for our spring youth retreat out at Ken's cabin and he was like, "I sure wish Scott and Margaret were still here. They were great out there last year." I agreed. We decided we should invite you guys to come! So, what are you doing Friday to Sunday of this week? :)
