twenty-five

Happy Canada Day!  (And birthday, to me.)  It was a pretty good Canada day here in the good ole U.S.A..  Our neighbours even celebrated with some loud explosions.  I think they were practicing for the fourth of July, but they could have been for July 1, too.  Scott got me a sewing machine.  I'm pretty excited.  I already browsed through the manual, wound a bobbin, threaded it, and sewed some practice seams.  The practice seams showed me that I need some more practice . . . .   I'll work on that.

In work-related news, I have a potential possibility for the first 12 weeks of the school year.  I'll send them my resume, application, and transcript tomorrow.  I think I'll know by the end of the week.  That's nice.

We have some pretty sweet pictures from my brother's wedding last Friday on our digital camera.  Unfortunately, we can't find the cord to put them on the computer right now.  So you'll have to be patient, dear reader/viewer.  We're going to unpack some more boxes tomorrow, so maybe we'll find it then.  Maybe we'll also find the air mattress and road atlas that accidentally got packed the night before we needed them.  Ah, moving.

Salut!
