It's lunch time, and I thought that since I haven't posted for a while, I'd do so. We have only two and a half weeks of school left until Christmas vacation. Crazy how fast this year is going. With the new year, I will have to begin applying for jobs once again (since I have only a one year contract), and the decision about where we will be next year must be made. It will be a relief, honestly.
I have English 10 class next. We're reading _The Chrysalids_. It's going . . . okay. I think that I was going too fast at first, and the students were getting a little lost. So we've slowed down and started focusing on vocabulary. Part of the problem is that my class isn't very prone to discussion. They like to say things in the simplest way possible. Just get it done quick so that you won't have homework. Sigh.
Yep, that's it. The bell should ring soon.
