blah

Scott bought me flowers yesterday. That was the first time that someone bought me flowers. It's a nice thing, to get flowers.

Tomorrow is Friday. I'm ready. I think that Scott and I will try to see Pan's Labarynth, and go check out a Thai restaurant that we heard about in Langley. Or we'll go to Pnang in Abbotsford if we don't feel like driving to Langley. We've been to Pnang before and it was pretty good, except their Pad Thai tasted like it had ketchup in it.

As if you care. You probably read that last paragraph and said to yourself in your head, "okay, get on with it. I have no idea where either Langley or Abbotsford is, and I really don't care whether you see Pan's Labarynth or not, and who cares if the Pad Thai sucked?" Sigh. I guess it doesn't really matter.

My grade tens are better. They're still pushing the boundaries, though. With this group it's going to be a fight to sell English class, I think. Tomorrow I'm going to have them read some Lynn Truss (Eats, Shoots, and Leaves). We'll see if they get it.

That's it. That wasn't worth reading, admit it.

I thought it was worthwhile. I said, "Ahhh, Scott bought flowers." We have never been a family that makes a huge deal out of Valentine's Day but he is a romantic at heart......

I also thought it was worthwhile.

What's a Labarynth?

I have given flowers, but never received flowers. But I did once get a plant for a Christmas gift.

A plant of sorts. I mean, it was green.

I know where Abbotsford is! Very close to me! Al is coming here on the 28th...will you be free/available that Friday or Saturday? And do you maybe have a floor for us to sleep on?

Oops, the "cheryl" was Miriam, who must have accidentally forgotten to log out of her account.
