I'm traveling with another teacher from school later this afternoon to Portland, Oregon for a conference on assessment. We're supposed to drive. I don't know if you have seen the news lately, but Washington is a lake right now. We've planned out a route that goes around the flooding, and are hoping that that highway will stay open. Otherwise we'll be hopping on a plane. Craziness! And slightly stressful.
We just found out that my aunt has cancer. (Another one.)
