Point form (because I need to go to bed):
- it's been raining and dreary for the past few days. I pulled out the Happy Light this morning.
- I was glad to find out at our staff meeting today that I don't have to do as much to organize the Thanksgiving program as I thought I did. Sigh of relief.
- Let's just have this election already.
- I wish that the republican vice-presidential nominee wasn't a woman. She isn't doing much for the cause of feminism. Or at least choose a woman who actually has the experience and education to do the job well. Or who sounds intelligent when you ask her a perfectly normal question. If you're going to be the first female vice-president, you've got to be better than every one else. That's just how it works.
- On Friday we make another trip up to Winnipeg. This time with Scott's grandma in her nice, comfortable Buick (Felix breathes a sigh of relief as he's already driven up there twice in the past three months.) The occasion is Elliot's baptism. Rejoicing all around. Both great-grandmas will be there. This should be fun.
- Tomorrow is Tuesday, and then I'm halfway through my work week already. Where does the time go.

Well, I'm still holding out for the pictures.
Can't that fancy new camera take pictures all by itself?
Also, in regards to the female veep, why must she wink and flirt? It just does nothing for our cause.
