two

We had two snow days this week! Unheard of! We got some more snow last night, but had school today, and the students were all disgruntled. As if in the act of falling, the snow extends grace from school. Coincidentally, I happened to read part of Proverbs 1 for devotions at school this morning. "Fools despise wisdom and understanding."

Not much else to write about. The snow is melting, and I'm sure it will be gone by next weekend. We're supposed to get rain tonight. Could be interesting.

I never thought that the weather could provide blog topics for so long.

it's amazing how interesting the weather can be in conversation... it is really the main topic first brought up in any standard conversation in this country. and the weather typically really isn't that different from the last day... once again, grey and rainy... though, this year's been weird. it's boosted conversations quite a bit!

i don't know about different... whenever it snows here it seems anchorage's mass happiness indicator gets a huge boost. so it's the think to talk about, cause snow opens up so many outdoor fun possibilities.

dido to what Amanda said! Rain, clouds, little sunshine with several days of long light here and there. Although still "relatively" warm especially compared to Iowa which is like -5 C today. BRRRRRRRR!!!
